Objectives:

• Athletes will learn fundamental riding concepts.
• Athletes will be exposed to a variety of terrain & conditinos.
• Athletes will develop team-building skills
• Athletes will increase their confidence and ability to manage challenging situations.

Activities:

• Lessons will be designed and implemented to meet the individual needs of each athlete.
• Time will be spent exploring the different aspects of the mountain.
• Emphasis will be placed on working together and building up each member.
• Athletes will practice on difficult terrain and learn to negotiate the best approach down.
• Activities will be developed around the idea that skiing and snowboarding are great sports and should be thoroughly enjoyed!

Details:

Ages: 7 to 16
Days and Times: Saturdays, 9 AM to 3 PM, Sunrise Junior Snow Sports Room.
Uniform: Participants are responsible for adequate clothing, equipment & helmet.
Instructors: Certified staff from the Sunrise Ski and Snowboard School.
Cost: $395 for the season/or $295 for any 8 Saturdays throughout the season. Payable to Sunrise Ski and Snowboard School.
Athletes are also responsible for their own Sunrise Season Pass or a daily lift ticket.

Welcome to Sunrise Park Resort’s annual Women’s Seminar. It is designed for women and taught by women to provide a challenging yet supportive environment for success!

Our top female professionals work with you in small groups sharing their knowledge and guiding you to reach attainable goals.

Our purpose is to increase your confidence and improve your skills through guided challenges.

Your seminar includes:

• On-snow instruction (One – Five hour class)
• Off-snow stretching sessions
• Complimentary gift package
• Fashion Show (Showcasing Local Apparel)
• Wine Tasting

Details

• Dates: January 26 and March 2, 2013
• Check in at the Sunrise Ski and Snowboard School Counter at 8:15 AM for registration. There will be a “Women’s Seminar” line.
• Your group will eat lunch together on the  mountain so be prepared to purchase lunch  or carry your lunch with you. Do not  expect to return to the Sunrise Base Lodge until the end of the day.
• There is no pre-registration deadline.
• Cost:
  • SEMINAR with lift ticket..……….…$135
  • SEMINAR without lift ticket ………$85
    (i.e. have season pass or vouchers provided by your lodging)

The cost of the 2-day Hiring Clinic is $65 that is payable in cash, check or credit card. The fee includes skills on how to teach, analysis of your riding technique, and tips on how to make it fun for customers.

When you arrive at Sunrise for the Clinic, be sure and bring your riding equipment, dress appropriately (you will be both indoor and outdoor). The restaurant will not be open so bring your “eats” for the day.

Also, be sure and bring 2 of the following: Social Security Card, Drivers License, Birth Certificate, or a current/expired Passport.

Once an instructor, our commitment days are 4 days per month. As an instructor you will receive a season pass, and access to unlimited opportunities for your own personal riding improvement.
